PERIJA PLUS Professional Grade is the latest generation Underground Water Leak Detector, based on a piezo electric ground microphone coupled with an advanced controller for identifying leaks in buried water pipes of different materials & depths.

The device can detect leaks in all types of water pipe networks under pressure, metallic and non-metallic water pipe networks, in both the main lines and branches of city, industrial and irrigation environment.

The Perija Plus is an advanced high capability water leak detection equipment that can be used to listen for & pinpoint water leaks in water pipes upto 750mm in diameter & which are being used at ≥ 2 bar pressure, allowing the operator to detect leaks in pipes buried upto 5 meter depth below ground.

How the buried water pipe leak detection system works:

When a pipe carrying water has a leak, water tends to spurt out of the leak point and, generates the following four types of sound:

Water flow sound

Impact sound

Friction sound

Pipe vibration sound

Combined, these sounds constitute the leakage sound.

Where there is no leakage, all the user can hear is the sound of the water flow.

Leakage Sound

Automatic Data Storage:

The PERIJA Plus Underground Leak Detection Equipment can save the data resulting from user’s projects automatically.

Store up to 600 Projects Data :

The Leak Detection System stores projects based on their date and time characteristics. It can store 20 projects (with a capacity of 2000 points) in each day. The total capacity of its memory is 30 days (i.e. it can store up to 600 projects data).

Built-in GPS for Logging GPS Locations:

The instrument is also equipped with built-in GPS for logging GPS locations to save leak detection, system performance & geographic data.

The instrument should be used for leak detection on water pipes upto what depth?

Leaks in 4.5- to 5 meter deep water pipes can be detected subject to water pressure being ≥ 2 bar. In case the pressure is lower, it becomes important to temporarily increase water pressure in the pipe by adding a pump at one of the valves to increase water pressure for leak detection.
